In order to sustain our movement to create a lasting social change, time spent in contemplation is not only the criteria to, but is part of that change. We will hear how contemplation and action are integrally entwined, action stemming from the Source of goodness and justice within. We will learn contemplative practices and tools to engage along our journeys, to connect to the Source and give to the world we seek to change.
Phileena Heuertz is an author, spiritual director, yoga instructor, public speaker, and retreat guide with much of her work focused on fighting global poverty and injustice. Phileena believes that contemplative spirituality is crucial to authentic, creative, liberating social change.
