The arts have long been a force for social change. In our current resistance, how can musicians, visual artists, dancers, actors, and other artists impact the national conversation and support progressive values? In this workshop, discuss the history of the arts in social change movements, discuss current arts activism opportunities to be supported and developed in the KC area, and experience art-making in various media. Instruments, props and art-making supplies will be provided. You do not have to be a trained artist to attend this session.
